This win means more than a lot of people realize. This win was in front of Blues fans, it was a win to end a 6 game losing streak and it was a game where the Blues proved that they won’t give up and if there is a way they can win they will. I’m so proud of how hard they worked not only in the overtimes but in regulation. They showed heart and they showed drive which is what that team is built on.

i understand hawks fans are angry, and you have the right to be, but the blues will cherish this. these are the wins that make a team. we may not have the greatest roster to some people, or the most talented offense, or star forwards like kane or toews, but we have the right ones for us. we’ve worked so hard, and don’t underestimate us anymore. we’re here too, and we’ll prove everyone wrong.
